Gaiman just does better when he is writing and building his own stories :/

Rounded up because Gaiman's writing (and reading) is always delightful, but definitely not as rich as I would have liked it to be. A short but enjoyable read (/listen) but more of a tease than anything else.

Delightful audiobook, narrated in an animated, engaging way by good ol' Neil. Loki sure is a scamp.

Not looking forward to Ragnarok.

This is a fun, accessible, and pretty kid-friendly intro to the Norse Myths, but it largely focuses on the "Big Three" of the known pantheon (Odin, Thor, Loki), which necessarily means excluding some of the most entertaining characters and stories. If you want a more in-depth retelling that doesn't sacrifice readability AND has some killer footnotes and source material for my fellow nerds out there, check out The Norse Myths by Kevin Crossley-Holland.

I really wish I had this to read before the first two Magnus Chase books...but now I'm excited for the third in October!
