This is a good read. It tell the story of a detective named Joona who tries to solve the murders of 2 people at a home for disturbed children. This investigation takes him down many roads, each one getting darker than its predecessor. Also Joona has a secret in his past that threatens to catch up with him. A worthy 4 stars.

OH BOY, I sure love Detective Inspecter Joona Linna! This is book 3 of the series and it finally gives you some solid background facts about Joona and his personal life.
This is also one of those books that is very hard to review, because you just do not want to say too much.
A brutal murder happens at a home for wayward girls. DI Joona Linna is there to observe only because he is under investigation by internal affairs. That's it, that's all you get! Read the book!
Thanks to Netgalley and Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group
Vintage Crime/Black Lizard for this advanced readers copy.

Fast book to read and chapters are really short :) I have read first 3 books now and this one is best for now.

10/10 cheffs kiss, this book is AMAZING.
With alternating tense scenes and descriptive narrative, this book just pulls you in. The plot is so interesting and keeps you on your toes. Again, there was an unrealistic superhero move, but at this point we all know that Joona is fricking awesome and I'm totally on his side. I definitely saw an improvement in authors writing and I can't wait to read the last book in this series!
