Again, if you like her show, you'll like this is a quick and fun read. If you hate her show, you probably won't!
funny
fast-paced
I love Chelsea Handler and this is the 3rd book of hers I've read, and this one just was not as funny and engaging as the other two. It was still great Chelsea humor and stories, but it was lacking something that her first two nailed perfectly. This one seemed like she was really reaching for good material, and the stories didn't have me laughing out loud like her other books.
I needed some fluffy books after studying for exams and doing a lot of textbook reading, so I read all of Chelsea Handler's trashy books. Oh, they are so trashy. This one made me laugh out loud a couple of times, but it is not a good book and I'm glad I didn't spend much time on it. And while her other books were full of exaggerations and weird storytelling, I thought this one was the worst. Also, did you know she used to date the E! CEO? Because that is only mentioned hundreds of times in this book.
I pretty much skimmed this. I just don't think she's funny. But she sure does.
Chelsea kills me! I laughed out loud until it hurt so many times while reading this book. If you're a prude, don't bother. But if you like vodka, compulsive lying, crazy parents, and dogs, this is a great one!
hilarious as usual! I can't believe she can still think of all this crazy stuff to write about!
I would do almost anything to just spend a day with Chelsea Handler. F'ing hilarious.
I love Chelsea Handler as a comedian. I really love her talk show. I think just like her, her stories are crazy and bold; however, as funny as they were, I had a hard time believing all of them. I'm not sure why but every time I finished a chapter, I would always ask myself, "Did that really happen?" When I got to the ending, I was expecting "and this book is a load of bs because you're just as gullible as Ted"....that didn't happen. So as entertaining as the boom was, I can't wrap my mind fully around what I read. (And though I love Handler's give no fux attitude and raunchiness, I wasn't ready for chapter 1) ;-)
