Wow, this book is so good that I am at a loss of words right now. I have been a fan of Nikki and Damien since early on and am sad this is their “formal” end. I know we will still have them as supporting characters in other books.
J. Kenner is one of my favorite authors and I cannot wait to see where the next book will take us.

Just when you think you knew everything that made Nikki and Damien into the best power couple out there, J. Kenner knocks them down a few pegs and sends them through a storyline that would send weaker marriages into turmoil. What does not kill us makes us stronger is not only their motto but their way of life. Out of nowhere comes Ashton Stone, a son Damien never knew about and what starts off with pure hatred can only go up from there. With this fast paced and highly emotional tale,. J. Kenner once again provides the perfect amount of love and lust intertwined in a heart stopping storyline.

Honestly how can you say goodbye to one of your most favourite books couples of all time. Sad that this is the end, but this book showed that their story was told. Will look forward to seeing glimpses of them in other books in the Stark world. Loved this book from start to finish!! Thank you so much J.Kenner for giving us this amazing couple to love forever!!!

This is a story that continues the Stark Series, we have Nikki and Damien's story in this fast-paced story with a roller-coaster of emotions to go with. I love this couple, always have. So if you haven't read their story please start with book one. I am sad to see this is the final one, but perhaps we can see them in other books by the author in the future.

Once again, Damien and Nikki make it through yet another life-altering bomb thrown at them from an unexpected source.
If you've followed Damien and Nikki, you know there is nothing they can't get through, and nothing that Damien won't do to protect her and his family. This time is no different. Damien's past comes back to throw a monkey-wrench into his life and potentially ruin him and everything he's worked for.
The story line was good. I like this series, and the spin-offs too. I did find parts of it a little unbelievable, and it felt, to me anyway, that the author was grasping for the plot line. Like I said, Damien and Nikki are the ultimate fairy-tale couple and I love them, but this one fell a little short of the wow factor for me.
