There were some really great lines and many of the quirks Jordan has are things I do (preferring to wait till a series is done so I can binge, or rereading the whole series when a new book comes out) but it was only a meh read for me.

Super cute story of almost enemies-to-lovers, with one guy acting the jerk at first before falling in love. I had a little bit of trouble keeping up with the pov changes with no warning but if you watch out for that then you've got a super cute happy ending romance!

Meet Cute Club
Sweet Rose, Book 1

I Picked Up This Book Because: Judged a book by its cover.

Media Type: Audiobook
Source: Everand
Dates Read: 3/23/24 - 3/24/24
Stars: 3.5
Narrator(s): Brent Billings

The Characters:

Jordan Collins: 20 something, in a bit of a rut career wise, leader of the Meet Cute Club
Rex Bailey Back in the small town he grew up in to deal with his grandmother’s estate.
Jordan’s Grandma, Rex’s sister, other book club members

The Story:

A fast-paced small-town romance with focus on a book club. I like the way the book club was a long-standing tradition and Jordan keeps it going. I enjoyed it but did not have any strong reactions. Jordan and rex are cool. There are a couple of steamy scenes and a couple of really emotional scenes. I think both guys grow and end up in a good place in the end.
