Honestly, I really enjoyed this! I had a lot of fun trying to figure out the mystery that was unraveling! This was a very enjoyable read for me!

This book was way too boring for me. I just couldn’t get into the characters. Unfortunately, this is another book going into my dnf pile. Sad!

Not the best writing.... Story was ok. But I don't think I'll read more from this author. Nothing about it made me think "wow".

I'm very...blah about this book. It was good, dont get me wrong. It was definitely worth 4 stars. I just don't know how to feel about it. I dragged myself to read through it, and the story felt like it was taking forever to have nothing happen. I was also quite confused with the timeline while reading it, but it actually made it more suspenseful to read. I liked the twist as to who the murderer was, and the introduction of the new character at the end. It tied the whole story up really well for a sad, but satisfying ending. I would love to read more about the individual regions as their differences are fascinating. Overall, I dont know that the book is high on my list to re-read at some point, but I would recommend it to others.

Didn't follow typical YA cookie cutter plot which was fun. Actually surprised me a few times.

*le sigh*

So I was really hoping to enjoy this one. It had a lot of elements that I thought were going to be really cool, and I was excited about it...but the way the elements came together just didn't connect for me. I didn't like any of the main characters, and I was waaaay more invested in the queens than I was in the actual main character, Keralie. It's not like I hated it...I just didn't like it, really. It kept me reading, and that's the best thing I can say for it. *sighs* 2.5 stars? I think? I'm having trouble deciding. Oh well.

it’s def has its flaws ESP THE MONARCHY N STUFF like idont understand how no one sees a problem with the queens never visiting their homelands again & eonia’s society as a whole just ocmpetely baffles me lowk

the being controlled by the comm stuff kinda?? Confused me idk

I just wanted that bitch mackiel gone like the moment he started calling kera “darlin’” I WAS SO BADFLED LIKE WHAT IS HE TRYING TO DO..???? He just sounds weird half the time magbe it’s bc i imagine him w an american voice

varin n kera were cute iguesssssssss 😊 i liked the dynamic, i jsut thought that varin switched up too quickly but then like yeah it makes sense iguesss idk

i enjoyed this book! it wasn’t the best but not the worst so yk .. middle ground
