It was okay for me. A really light, easy read. I think the Summerhill sisters are very likeable. But overall I think the story was very anticlimactic, after Rosalind found out the truth everything was resolved way too easily. I must say that I LOVED Em and Joe, their chemistry was amazing and they should have their on book.

Kate Perry is my go-to girl whenever I need to read something fun and fast. This one was a perfect read in between those heavy readings, yanno?

This was a cute story. A family comes together to mourn the loss of their patriarch only to discover his missing will may or may not cut their mother from her portion of the estate. What ensues is some light-hearted fun between the sisters, a romance between co-workers and one between a sister and a step-brother.

Rosalind Summerhill is forced to come home to London after her father passes away. It's a home she's stayed as far away from as possible. But discovers that things are much different than they were the last time she was home, including her mother and sisters. When her mother begs her to help find her father's missing will she finds herself enlisting the help of the very attractive Nick Long, whom she met at her father's funeral. What she doesn't know is that Nick is the step-brother to the one person who could ruin Rosalind's family.

The characters in this story were very quirky, but lovable and fun. My only complaint about the story was not getting enough 'face time' with all of them. In a very light-hearted way, the author navigates us through the Summerhill family coming to grips with who their father was and the sisters (all of them) embracing each other while letting go of the past. Having a hot Formula One driver along for the ride was so bad either. It was a quick read that left me laughing and smiling, wishing I could have had a little bit more fun with them.

Cheesy and cringeworthy- the immediate falling in love which seems to be a trend in this book is just not realistic. Not my cup of tea at all

I liken these books to soap operas, and not just because of the plotlines.

Soap operas have recycled, overdone plotlines, bad acting, sex, and drama, yet sometimes I want to sit and watch one anyway to take a break from all of the smart, well-written Emmy-award winning TV shows that I love.

This series is like that - the plots are weak, the characters underwritten, and the scenarios are unrelatable and nothing like what real life would be like (not to mention bad editing - in this particular book, two different scenes are nearly identical with almost the exact same dialogue from the same characters), but I plan to keep reading them because I just want to space out and read a few badly written books every once in a while.

I was given and ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
I will start by saying that I thought I knew what I was getting into but really had no clue. There were so many different story lines involving secondary characters that it kept me on my toes.
I loved the character development throughout the story and that you got to see different people grow, come out of their shells or stand up for themselves. It was great to see these things happen. I can honestly tell you I laughed with the girls and guys! I cried with them and I felt their frustration! I felt like they were my friends and that I was there with them throughout all the trials and obstacles they faced. I became so invested in such a short period of time and I didn’t want it to end! I can’t wait for the next book! I hope it comes soon as I will be antsy for it. I recommend the book to anyone who likes to see families grow and learn to love, new love, sisterly battles, and new friendships forming. This was such a fun and happy read. Grab a copy and FAST! Kate is definitely someone to keep your eye out for. She is going to keep the awesome stories coming for years I’m sure! 5/5

This is for anyone who wants a really bad book with unbelievable characters, boring plot and unbelievable twists. This one was a winner, when girl meets boy at a funeral, they walk towards a pub and girl grabs boy and kisses him. Well, if I really had to write it into a good and believable scene, I guess I could, but KP couldn't.
Duh.

Update: I kind of finished it - I read Em and Joe's chapters, which were kind of cute. But I couldn't care enough for the main characters and weren't interested in the contents of the will to read it properly, so I skimmed through and then deleted from device.
