I don't really think there are any spoilers in this review, but just in case, I'm hiding it. :)

I saw the author Tweet about this book & decided I wanted to read it, though I must have downloaded it at some point because I was surprised to find it already on my PC Kindle.
I found the whole concept of this story really interesting, I very much like the characters too.

There were a lot of things I liked about this book, there aren't nearly enough YA Sci fi/romance books out there for my liking so this book was a little gem for me to read. I like Cyn, she's a take-charge character that doesn't dwell on things she can't change, no tears or ridiculous temper tantrums! Which I suppose you would really expect from the situation she found herself in, but it was nice that she just got on with it.
I think there could of been a bit more world building, but I didn't really mind as it was nice for the story & character communication to be at the forefront of this book.
I also really liked the conclusion of why they'd been brought there.

There were a few things I found a bit unbelievable with the characters & how they reacted. Like the relationship between Cyn & Stire. I know they were all dumped together, but as teenagers, I think there should have been more protest about their relationship, especially from the other humans as I'm sure realistically there would be some hard feelings about it.. Also, their 'moments' together, didn't really feel all that... Romantic? I mean, maybe their should have been more of a build up, it felt as though they were suddenly just lumped together. As teenagers they should have a lot of mixed feelings and it didn't really seem like they did.
Even with these things, I really enjoyed this book & will be eagerly awaiting the next!
