“The world was mostly entropy and chaos; magic, then, was order, because it was control.”

Finally finished this novel following six magicians that are fighting for a spot in Alexandrian society which holds the long lost knowledge of ancient times. At moments it felt a bit rushed through as i did not have the feeling it has been a year already or simply wanted bit more but nonetheless i was still deeply enchanted by this story that dealt with multiple themes and (morally grey) charachters. I loved the setting and the whole premise of the book so i felt (more) invested and ready to dive into the second book to see what will happen next.

No clue what I even listened to. Couldn’t even tell you what happened. Boring
