I liked this, but didn’t love it. Especially when we only get a couple being happy, together, etc with no issues in a very short epilogue. But the character growth was nice.

I loved this book. Kaliya is such a great character and the relationship between her and her ex flows so beautifully.

Myah girl. I know you may never read this. But you put your foot in this book here. Although I’ve been an audiobook lover for a year now, I haven’t been able to do fiction audiobooks. The voice on this was so perfect I had to look her up to see what else she read. It’s DeWanda Wise. I found a unicorn 😩. The story hit all of the emotions. I was over here squealing and dancing and literally crying. It’s already up there for my favorite read this year.

Now the fourth quarter break up did piss me off. I almost stopped reading but I had to see it through. I truly thought a mistake had been made. But that’s why Myah gets paid the big bucks and not me. It set the ending up for a truly beautiful ending that once again, made me cry?!?!? and I never cry reading books.
