This book really solidified that you need to read the books in ‘order’ (intertwined with the Addicted series) for them to be fully understood. Full transparency, I actually tried to read this before the Addicted books with Lily and Lo but very quickly realised that it wouldn’t make much sense at all without them. Having come back to it with the other books in tow, I can assure anyone that wants to read them that unlike with other companion series/book (think Shadow and Bone / Six of Crows, or Anna and the French Kiss / Lola and the Boy Next Door) reading them out of order doesn’t just mean your reading experience maybe isn’t quite as fun as it could be, but instead becomes necessary reading for anything to make sense.

I actually didn’t mind this book too much, but WHY do all these books have to end with the women being stripped of their autonomy and then it being made into a moment of ‘empowerment’ when it really isn’t.

Rose’s OCD (tbh I’m still not sure if they were saying it as a ‘haha she totally has OCD’ or as a genuine disorder she has) wasn’t handled nearly as badly as I expected it to be. The moment where her books and sketches had been scattered and she tried to reorder them but just made it worse really spoke to me. What didn’t was how her symptoms seemed to alleviate due to Connor. Guys, I’m really sorry to tell you this, but unfortunately no amount of dick can cure OCD :/ like when she was washing and he told her she was clean and turned off the water, she snapped that no she wasn’t and turned the water on. I’ve done that, I’ve been there, but the feeling of still being unwashed doesn’t go away just because a hot guy says you’re fine.

It was kind of nice seeing Lo and Lily from someone else’s perspective. I actually found them quite endearing in this book. I’m eager to see how this continues in the other books, with not just them but all our other couples.

Another thing I enjoyed was Rose’s overwhelming love for her sisters, especially with how she wanted to keep Poppy.

as someone who loves reality tv this was exactly what I wanted. They say the real world, but that’s not a good comparison. The real world is about a group of strangers and this is more like Laguna beach because it’s a group of friends.

Who wouldn't want to read a book with a setting of a reality tv show and with all the characters in the addicted series?
Rose is great heroine strong, caretaker to her sisters. Finally realistic portray of virgin and we find out why she hold on her v-card.
I LOVE Connor his outrageous intelligence makes him so attractive and hot to me :D!. I loved the way he waited for her and was endlessly patient. He knew all along what she wanted but was willing to wait for her to realize it herself. He didn't understand love because he had never been shown love. (Until Rose) It was a foreign concept to him but with Rose, Daisy, Ryke, Lo and Lily. They become his family.
Everything Coballoway did was iconic lap dance, shower, them in bedroom scenes...okay he os so damn sexy. Two words...LAP. DANCE. I LOVE the roles of Connor and Rose in the bedroom!
LiLo is OTP love them without a doubt, this is one of the most addictive series I have ever read. I loved every single word and read this book as slowly as I could trying to make the story last as long as possible. I didn’t want it to end.

It took me awhile to get through this one, but I’m glad I did because I loved the ending. Connor and Rose do take some time to get used to, but once you know them, they’re the best. Connor as a personality still probably isn’t my favorite, but he’s an amazing boyfriend… and yes, he’s perfect for Rose
