LOVEEEE CONNOR COBALT

way too much drama for my liking. I didn’t like the idea of the reality show at all and I sometimes dreaded going back into the book because it was ALL drama and I’m not into that kind of books

that said, I did love their relationship (I feel like that’s the only kind of relationship I could have because I need someone who matches me when it comes to intelligence and banter)

now, as for whether I will continue reading the books or not… that’s a question that I’ve been debating with myself. I’m curious to see how Ryke and Daisy’s relationship sparks and how Ryke behaves with her because he’s one of my favorite characters, so I think I will continue with the series for one more book and leave it there. I don’t think I can do that much drama all the time

loveee the characters so much they are a five stars but i didn’t love the plot line of this one all that much :’)

I just love these characters. It's not the best writing or the most interesting plot, but I enjoy the found family so very much! I think Daisy and Ryke could be my 5-star in this series though, can't wait for the next book!

I really liked the character and relationship development between Connor and Rose but the plot of this one was just really far fetched  and not well thought through. I wasn’t a big fan of the ending

I really liked Connor and Rose's story. I felt like we got to see so much more underneath their put together personas. I felt like this book spent a little less time focused on their growth as people and more their growth in their relationships. I overall found this book enjoyable and had high potential to be a five star read if it wasn't for the ending. I felt like it was rushed and wrapped up in a perfect little bow. I have no idea what the next book is going to focus on. I wish their had been more focus on both individuals working on their problems(Connor with his inability to express love) and Rose (learning to let go of control and anxiety) outside of just with eachother. I wanted to see how they were able to grow with the other people around them. I wanted to see Connor telling the boys he loved them and Rose learning to let loose more with her sisters and friends and not letting her mom fight her on everything and continuing to seek her approval. Hopefully that could be shown in their second book.

I did find myself loving the continual slow burn of Ryke and Daisy's relationship and can't wait to read their book. I liked seeing Lo and Lily happier in this book and continuing to grow and address their addictions. I liked that it didn't show them being perfect. I do find myself cringing a bit at how much they both are portrayed as "not like other boys/girls" characters.
