I can’t express how much I love all this characters and I would do anything for them

Re-Read Review (audio the second time) The narrators were great. The french parts swoon worthy.

Man I love this crew. I just want one night with Connor. JUST ONE!!!

Since this is my re-read, my anxiety was already high during several parts. But then all those swoon worthy parts came back and I was giggling, gasping, and awing.

Connor Cobalt could put a collar on me any time he wants.

I don't care, I loved this, this was everything I needed at this exact moment!!!! <3333

(5⭐️/2

(Actual: 4.5⭐️) My first legit #BookstaMadeMeDoIt and, much like Bridgerton, I am now complete & utter trash for this series

uhm WHATTTT!! so good ate this up

4.5⭐️ this made me love love loooove Connor Cobalt oh my god slay yes. the reality show setting was sooo entertaining and I wasn’t expecting the twists at the end, it was so gooood. the found family is getting so amazing I love all the characters so much, I feel like I love lily and lo so much more after this book and I’m so excited for daisy and ryke’s book yay

If you're reading this in the full series order (After Addicted for Now) maybe you can agree with me in saying this book was a BREATH OF FRESH AIRRRRR AFTER LOREN & LILY!! If anything, the drastic difference between them, and Lily being a side character in this further emphasized my opinion that they are toxic, weak, and unsettling. While Connor and Rose are also clearly flawed people with their multitude of problems to sift through, they are entirely more well-rounded characters. I think their selflessness, fierce loyalty and discipline was showcased in a way that did them true justice. Also, this is a couple that seems to have true chemistry and brings balance to eachother. LOVEED THEM!

In fact, this would’ve been a 5 star read if the presence of Lily Calloway didnt annoy me or if Ryke and Daisy were not cringe.

I know we’re getting a Daisy and Ryke book next in this series but let me say this before we get there: justifying this “friendship” as a “friendship” while shes 16 and hes 20+, doesn’t make it any more appropriate. Their friendship would’ve felt more innocent if Ryke hadnt, on multiple occasions, pointed out Daisy’s looks, encounters with men, and relationship status. This is a man whos obviously made note of her appearance and has felt comfortable enough to allow himself to discuss it. Friend zone or not, this relationship is inappropriate and taboo. Acknowledging this sucks as a reader because as far as the characters go, Ryke Meadows is definitely one of my favourites.
