This is the first book in a series about the Calloway sisters. I will say there were several refreshing twists in this RomCom, the first being the couple is ‘together’ the whole book. This first book is about a group of 3 girls and 3 guys who are on a reality tv show for romance / plot reasons. It’s an entertaining romance with a quick enough plot. It wasn’t my favorite but it’s enjoyable and I’ll finish the series. Girl is type A OCD and Guy is controlling but in a good way(romance book controlling). They are both geniuses and millionaires. It’s basically the kardashians so if you like reality tv you’d love this book.
Oh my, this was much more re freshing to read than Lo and Lily. I slipped the 'Addicted' series book 2 & 3 to get to this one. I enjoyed the banter and ambition in Rose and Connor charcters. The whole 'reality show' was different but let's not beat around the bush, this book is just another rich kid dates rich kid phenomenon. Which makes its the perfect trashy romance novel. The ending was a bit too lovey dovey for me (particularly with these two headstrong characters). The steam in this book was
3.5: I thought it was sort of a boring plot line, but I really loved the characters. Lily & Loren and Rose & Connor. I was rooting them on.
For once can one of the terrible and diabolical characters written throughout this series absolutely get their shit rocked? Like this family is supposed to have billions. They would have the power to absolutely dog Scott. It is so unsatisfying. All this conflict and each character saying they would do x,y, and z to protect themselves and those they love, for them to ultimately do nothing.
Best book in the series so far. Everyone was right about the series. It truly does get better! Lily and Lo annoyed me in the first three books, but I still liked it. But this book…. Connor and Rose have my friggen heart. I’m also shipping Daisy and Ryke so bad.
