↳overall: the plot of this book could have been so much better if we were given flashbacks of their childhood and adolescence. Their rivalry seemed almost fake and whenever they got any information on their first couple dates Rose who was his sworn enemy gave in and began to date him? felt so unserious to me. The whole sex tape and reality TV show was not for me and neither was the juvenile bickering between all the characters. I would have liked this more if I was younger...

Connor the man you are
lighthearted slow-paced

it was entertaining to read and the characters were interesting but some things don’t really make sense to me and I kinda didnt like the reality tv show going on. (i think i would have preferred to read about their academic rivalry)

I wanted to read Connor and Rose's story for a while now, but was apprehensive after reading Addicted to you. I know a this is an unpopular opinion and so many people love them, but I truly cannot stand Lo and Lily-especially Lily.

I understand that dealing with an addiction is incredibly hard for individuals but Lily was just such a weak character to me, with no depth what-so ever. I mean the crying, moping and silent treatments were just too much-is it too much for her to stand up for herself?? I mean she left Rose to do everything for her own wedding (which I know she didn't want, but still...).

Anyway, I digress.

Rose was a character I wasn't sure that I would like at first. She was, as she and many other characters said, a bitch. She was so different to any other character I have read before, and I found myself so incredibly intrigued with her and her relationship with Connor which was so incredibly unique as well. I just loved Connor and wanted even more of his verbal take downs.

The writing was so good and I found myself laughing quite a bit while reading. I do have to admit that the ending was a bit rushed and I would have had liked to read more about the fallout, instead of it just being a few paragraphs and an epilogue. However, this may be explored in the next few books.

All in all, I was a very good book and whether you like or disliked Addicted to you, I would recommend this book

ROSE AND CONNOR ROSE AND CONNOR ROSE AND CONNOR <3

i love reading abt my two fav characters and couple of this series so so much!! these two characters are so different from the rest seeing their povs and their struggles was so refreshing. reading about connor especially was interesting, his mindset is so uniquely different than the rest. actually, rose and connor are more different then they seem when we read about them from other perspectives. it was so interesting reading about the differences in their mindsets and personality, these things come to the surface more in this book than any of the others so far. usually connor and rose are simply categorized as ‘the smart couple’ but this book explores that although yes they are both smart, they are so much more than that! i love it so much. the way the both of them can read each others minds with out the other realizing
and because i love rose and connor so much it pains me to say that this book didn’t really live much to my expectations. i liked the book but honestly im giving it 4 stars for the characters not for the plot. this plot felt weaker than it did in the other books. it kinda felt like the authors weren’t exactly sure how to write about characters other than lily and lo. although we got to see a lot in this book i wish more was explored. i wanted to see more of connor and roses rivalry and moments together when they were teenagers. i wanted to see more of the relationship between connor and his mom, and rose and her mom. i really wanted to see some scenes of connor with his mother before she died, since we dont know much about her and she was connors active parent in his life, but unfortunately that was not what happened… and ending it with connor becoming the ceo wasn’t satisfying to me, i wanted to see more of his struggles about being the ceo and stuff like that but.. yeah
sadly i feel like i have more complaints than good things to say because i wanted to see more of the depth of rose and connor but i hope their second book is better! currently not looking forward to daisy and rykes book and will probably procrastinate on it a lot!

4.75*
I absolutely loved this book and thought that I was gonna give it a 5 star considering the snippets of Connor and rose that we got. I mean don't get me wrong I still love them so much and I see myself in both of the characters! The drama and tension was unmatched! So it should be a 5 star right ?? I didn't get the 5star feelinggggg and I think that's because the underline of all the plot was very ridiculous like the reality tv show did not make sense to me and I feel like it was just thrown there for the sake of drama ( SCOT I HATE YOU ). So yeah it just felt a little bit unrealistic and I think that's why I didn't get the 5 star feeling ! But it's still more than a 4.5 yk ??

i loved this book, idk why it took me so long to finish it but like i didn’t cry at the end like i did with addicted for now, i think it’s a 4.25 for me tho
