I FUCKING LOVE THIS FUCKING BOOK SO FUCKING MUCHHH (That's Ryke's effect). I knew I'd love since I met Rose and Connor and even beforehand, their fans don't fail at proving how iconic Coballoway are.
Rose is such a fucking QUEEN OMG it was always obvious but ughhh. She's smart multitalented, a layered character, caring, flawed, beautiful and my new woman wbkkk. She's already in my top 10 FMCs of all time because she's just that great and Ice Queens are my fucking weakness. I loved reading her inner monologue, it really felt like being inside her mind not just reading a story, and I mean it was also that way with the rest of the addictedseries characters so far but yeah. The fact that such a hot tempered woman is a sub in bed is SO real omg like she just trusts her man so much to be vulnerable w him. And like someone once said, man hater women are the best lovers cause they will always hate men, just not THEIR men mind you, and here my woman Rose is the greatest example. I honestly didn't expect her to be that kinky but it's top tier anyway cause the smut went HARD OH MY.
Connor. Mf. Cobalt. POR DIOS QUE HOMBREEEE. Help. Getting inside his mind was so cool because he's actually quite diff from what I expected but in a good way yk? A complex and interesting and top tier character. I love it when men have high ass egos but for a good reason and Connor just fits inside that list,,, like, smart, charming, calm, hot, reserved, rich as hell, hardworking, not vanilla but not toxic either, knows all the ways of pleasuring a woman... He IS the standard. Honestly, why are people even writing new book men when none of them will ever compare to Richard Connor Cobalt? CEO of Cobalt Inc, founder of Cobalt Diamonds, Penn graduate with highest honors and porn star? Others have absolutely no chance against him mind you. Just like his woman (who's also my woman but he's also my man) he already got inside my top 10 MMCs of all time. No doubt.
Coballoway as a couple make so much sense, they served soulmates in the best possible fashion. They were SO made for each other, even if I expected their story to have a diff pacing, more similar to the authors I usually read, like Rina or Ana, though I'm NOT complaining because this is just perfect mind you.
As usual, the side characters aka the rest of the core six ate and left no crumbs, I think I fell in love with Ryke and Lily even more in this book. Their kinda found family is already one of my favs of all time, I always love books in which friendships are important and well written.
I just love this book so much it was fucking addictive and I constantly found myself wanting to read more and more not just to finish but to know more about my beautiful people. I give this 4.35/5 stars.

I really enjoyed this book! Rose’s and Connor’s perspectives are really refreshing after reading so many books centered around Lily and Lo, and I find their personalities to be far less grating. They somehow managed to mention Lily’s godforsaken Wampa hat, the one thing I’d hoped to never hear from again. I raised an eyebrow at the early spice scenes as I found them to be really presumptuous. While I understand and appreciate the overall dynamic, I think there could’ve been a better way to get there that felt more consensual.
Connor freaking Cobalt. The confidence, the love he has for Rose and only her. The relationship he had with Lo is my absolute favorite thing.

This story is of a strong headed couple who are trying to make their way in the world and figuring one another out. Rose and Connor decide to take the next steps in their relationship, and that is guiding Rose through sex and collecting her virginity. I really enjoyed this story because of the supporting characters and the main characters because the group felt relatable. I however did not like the path and pace the story went down after the "big" selling point (Rose's virginity) was complete. There was a lot of drama in the story which kept up with the path of the book, so thats good. I also enjoyed the ending, it was unexpected.
