DID NOT FINISH: 32%

Something about the writing and characters was not clicking for me. Also didn’t really feel any connection between the leads.

[4/5 ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆] “Because you said you loved him. Because you deserve your fairy-tale ending. And because I’d do anything for you, Gracie Cooper. Even if it means letting you go.”

Muy lindo para leer entre otras lecturas, se pasa muy rápido y tiene muchas vibes de “You’ve Got Mail” y amamos.

i really enjoyed this book, much more than i thought i would. i thought it would me a mid book. but i actually really liked it. i think it addressed interesting topics like the tendency to live for the satisfaction of others, especially family, instead of living for yourself. i really liked the dynamics between the siblings and how they evolved throughout the book. as well as the side characters, i feel like i got to know them pretty well. it felt overall well balanced between the primary romance and the stories of the side characters.
i do think however that the connection between the main characters was told more than shown. except in the like presence chapters, where i feel like it went a bit too fast. the chapters where they are penpals weren’t even chapters and so i feel like we’re more told that they are connected than we are shown it.
still a very good surprise.

I have read two books in a row that were very similar (Very Sincerely Yours). I did think this was classic rom-com and so kinda cute. I think was has put me off by these books is the women are very immature. They are 30 not 22. Anyway, it was quick read and there are some cute parts. Enjoy!

I love “you’ve got mail” SO much. And this book is a beautiful, sparkling, heart-wrenching reminder of why.

So sweet! I loved this story, it reads just like an 80s rom com. I do wish we got to see a bit more of Sebastian to build more tension throughout, but I was really happy with the family dynamics aspect and overall enjoyed
