What a ride! This book has an epic opener and an equally epic ending.... and what lies between is a twisted tale of deception, friendship, and murder.
I enjoyed how fast-paced and engaging this was. There were enough twists and clues to keep it interesting from page one. I was determined to figure out the who and the why - and while it was slowly revealed, everything just clicked. The buildup was full of suspense, all set against a stunning (and wildly expensive) friendcation, where everything that seemed too good to be true, was in fact, just that.
Bad Tourists explored the masks we wear, the trauma we endure, and the AI-driven world we live in. It's an excellent exploration into the mind of a sociopath. Highly recommend!

On the island another murder happens and the three women are thrown back into intense situations that bring up old feelings and questions from the 2001 mass murder incident.
Written well, the audio version was a little confusing due to the multiple POV’s being narrated by the same voice.
