Yes! Suspense and thrills! This is what my overwhelmed and easily distracted brain needed to read right now. A fast, page-turning suspenseful story that I couldn't put down. A fancy resort on the water. Loved it. Not sure why there needed to be so many references to WhatsApp, LOL. is there subliminal marketing in novels now?

It has been a long time since I’ve read a proper page-turner. This was it! Super original. Tightly plotted. A delight!

Ok I don’t know if I misread the synopsis but I was expecting White Lotus and man this did not deliver. Nothing happened in part one. Honestly not much happened in most of part two. The ex husband side plot just… disappeared for a long time? When we finally got to the thriller part it was just one scene. I am not really a thriller girly in general but this didn’t hit for me.

Also it really bothered me that it was UK characters and they kept referring to distances in miles!
