This was really good. There were so many things I don't know and reservation vigilante justice was one of them. I have done reading about Native American reservation justice and life and it is tragic. Drugs, violence, corruption. Doesn't get much better than this.

I read this book in just two sittings. It sucks you in and is overall a really enjoyable read. I love the main characters. I felt like the beginning was a tad bit slow and now that I've finished, I feel like some of the story was filler. I pretty much guessed the ending right away BUT it's still well written and I'd still recommend it to my friends. I've been wanting to read more books about the Native American experience written by Native Americans and this certainly fit the bill. I really liked this book!

really wanted to like this one but the pacing and writing was just too jarring for me. the story was interesting but the ending became obvious early in the story. would very much like to try the author's subsequent writings - i think it will greatly improve over time.

This story deals with a lot of very difficult topics. It really kept my interest and I felt really invested in the characters and the story. A great debut book!

This was a pretty fun read—kind of predictable. Nothing really inventive about it. 4 stars strictly for the Casa Bonita scene and descriptions of Denver. Can you ever get enough Casa Bonita!? You cannot.
