I have always loved Elle's writing. there's no doubt about it. I had read the deal and loved it immediately and I'm so happy it was the same case with the Graham effect. We don't have many books about female hockey (at least I haven't seen many) and I loved it. Ryder was such interesting character and I'm so happy Elle used his character perfectly and to the fullest he had so much depth and I loved his arch. There was no third acct breakup thank you very much. You know how when you're reading a book and you see that they're happy but there's still like a quarter or something of the book left and then you are just worried about what's going to happen? that did not happen when I was reading this. it was genuinely so enjoyable that I was just reading and miscommunication never occurred. thank god. miscommunication leads to fall out people. its just a trope that i dont like and this book was perfect. everyone needs to read this bookk

Ah it's was just so cute. All the giggles, and smiles and Ryder is a just top notch book BF. No third act breakup, plenty of spice and a realistic HEA ♡

This book gave me ice breaker vibes, fun light hearted yet still well developed characters. A really enjoyable romance in a fun collegiate hockey setting.

I liked how the typical obstacles in a friends-with-benefits turned more than that weren't an issue here, they kind of just accepted that they both wanted more and that was it – felt mature and was a pleasant surprise. Didn't love how sudden the dirty talk in public was, seems like something you'd maybe build up to a bit more.
It did feel a bit longer than it needed to be.

This was a good and entertaining hockey romance. I really liked seeing Garett and Hannah’s kids after their books and loved how involved they were in the book. Gigi and Ryder were super cute. Please look up trigger warnings.
