I love this historical series and its characters - they feel like friends and I care what happens to them. Sidney and Verify are seeking the poison gas canisters to prevent anyone from using them against the Irish or, against the Crown troops. An interesting and exciting addition to the series!
I would recommend this book to others who enjoy fictionalized history and/or cozy reads.

Another great book from Anna Lee Huber! Worth the weight. Wish that it wouldn’t have ended on such a cliffhanger though.

Length: 11 hours, 16 minutes - It didn't seem that long.
Narrator: Heather Wilds - She is an excellent reader.
Shelves: Series (Established), FAH Reading Challenge (64. Book that features an Irish setting)
Exceeded Expectations - A bit better than I anticipated. I forgot how intriguing Verity can be and how well Ms. Wilds brings her to life. A compelling story about a young woman in Dublin after WWI who was murdered after she had her hair sheered for being with a British soldier.
