Per non parlare della divinizzazione di Tolstoj da parte di Landolfi. Libro mediocre anche se di un autore e di un traduttore incredibili, casa Adelphi poteva evitare.
In reality, I haven't read this whole book. This was my first Tolstoy, and I wanted to read something quick, so I've only read The Kreutzer Sonata so far, but I really enjoyed it.

I shed actual tears reading this. Truly a brilliant and eye opening read from such a powerhouse of a writer. Tolstoy does not leave out any details; and he writes all emotions from sadness to lust in such a unique yet realistic way. I wholeheartedly enjoyed this read very much; my personal favorite of the short stories being “Family Happiness.” Highly, highly recommend.
Nothing sends me into crisis quite like a Tolstoy narrative does.
