This book was absolutely crazy with the spice and the plot and boy did it slap! I loved it! Plus Delilah and Cordelia’s friendship was adorable. I can’t wait for the next one!

Beautiful.
I want 14 of these.

Now was this a literary masterpiece? Maybe not.
Am I PMSing hard and my emotions are a tad heightened? Very much freaking so.
Did I love the simplicity and credibility of it all? You best believe I did!

This series is gonna become a fast favourite of mine!

The plot - Wow this book took me ages to finish. It truly wasn’t in any way bad, clearly I’m just in a slump!
This has age gap, billionaire, fake identity, spice lessons and ‘first orgasm’ vibes. Also autism rep which was a nice change. Smut was like 3/5 on the spice scale, we tip into BDSM territory. And it’s a HEA in a series of interconnected standalones!
This was an interesting concept, and I read it ahead of the ARC I received for Rapunzel Is Losing It (book 2 in this series.) I am so glad I did because the background and establishing of the foundation was so fun to read!

The MC - Delilah was our FMC, she got anxiety, and autism! That was a surprise, but honestly I could see it. It may have been the more ‘stereotypical form’ but it made sense with her personality, and she was lovable all the same!

The male counterpart - Beckett is our MMC, and I was on the fence about his redemption and how much information he ACTUALLY possessed, so he dropped the star for me. Maybe I’m just stupid and missed the details, but he was a bit shady.

Insanely spicy but poor plot development. So many missed opportunities here and questions left unanswered

I really enjoyed this take on the Cinderella story! I thought it was a great way to start a series. I loved there was great mental illness/health representation in this with the characters. They were all quite defined and even with Delilah and Cordelia doing the whole "pretend to be someone else" thing. I was absolutely rooting for Delilah and Beck. I loved Beck and how kind he was throughout the story. He was amazing with Delilah. I was hooked from start to finish.

Do check the warnings at the start of the book because this does deal with heavier themes.

Loved it. Neurodivergent representation was on point and I absolutely adored Beck. Yes please to the next book

by gods i finally finished my reread and i just have to say i have no idea what i was thinking rating this 3.5 when i read it for the first time back in january… second time around i can safely say this lands at a 4.5 from me and makes me even more excited for cordelia and victors book!!!

the plot in this was so well thought out and was such a fun time from start to finish. and del and beck’s relationship no matter how rocky it started was such an intense connection but it felt so Real and strong by the time beck got delilah to trust him with her mind And body

if ur in the mood for a (purposefully) mistaken identity, billionaire romance with a neurodivergent FMC and a billionaire mmc who wants nobody but her this is definitely one to add to ur tbr

(jan7) 3.5 stars!!! this was a cute and spicy read and the plot twist really kept me on my toes. it was really fun to be able to see how beck worked through delilah’s issues with her and giving her time to work through them in her head!!
funny lighthearted medium-paced

I truly wasn’t expect much from a debut novel but I loved it. Beck is definitely in my top 5 favorite MMCs.
