This book is very graphic about very disturbing subjects. Do not read if that’s not something you can handle. 

Compared to her other books? It’s ok. The word usage was very, VERY repetitive and annoyed me more than anything else honestly. The dialog and writing was choppy and abrupt which I guess makes sense considering the characters aren’t stable mentally but i just had a really hard time not just never finish this book

This took me FOREVER to finally finish. I had to force myself out of sheer will. Honestly the dark kid situations are awful but honestly it was the characters themselves I couldn’t stand along with the writing and their relationship. Toxic and not in a sexily dark romance redeemable way (at least in my opinion). There was only one spicy scene that I found enjoyable and everything else was just not my cup of tea and unnecessarily long. Overall a let down for me personally.

This is a very dark romance, that has some very major triggers for those that are victims of trauma. The main characters are victims of sexual abuse from a very young age and are separated, and then when the MMC comes to rescue the FMC you learn that both aren't exactly as you'd call normal. the FMC has some mental issues as a result of the trauma she's lived through as well as the MMC. The story does end on a happy ending. I wanted to read this book because I had heard about it on BookTok and I was curious about it, but found out that the author herself had taken the book off the market because of its dark content, and therefore hard to find. I finally found it and bought it at a very good price. I'm glad I read it, but I do advise that you read up on the triggers before reading this book, check your own triggers before reading. Your mental health matters more than a story, no matter how good it is.

JFC this book is a WILD ride. An Alice and wonderland revenge story. I wasn’t ready for some of the things that happened. I had to put it down and give myself a moment. Some things are DARK. Very DARK. But hey, tick tock.
