This was a really finale and I desperately need the next one. It was a real game changer and I absolutely loved it…I may reread the series just for the fun of it.

~Spoilers~

Trying to kill death seems silly.

While I am happy that the ranger shot Orion because he was a crazy mother fucker, that did cause a lot of chaos. He causes more problems than he solves. Kind of annoying.

I knew that Wolf and John’s reunion wasn’t going to last long. Which makes me so sad. Did Wolf die?

I feel so bad for Psalm 137, there’s a man trapped inside of him. His back story is so horrifying scientist took a bunch of religious figures turned them into robots and then they became killing machines.

Babylon is such a sweet child. Babylon and Death are reunited! Take those stupid things off his eyes that way he can see the world!

Shit the other horsemen broke from their cocoons and now they’re going to fuck shit up.

As usual, gorgeous. Fantastic storytelling through pictures. Slower than other volumes, but still fast. I was a bit surprised at how "Balloon" acted when Babylon finally meets Death (though I thought Babylon's reaction was spot on). Maybe I'm missing something, but I did not anticipate Balloon to be so... capitulating. I guess it might have been because Balloon didn't know who the guy was who saved him. But I don't think so. Still brilliant.

Mesmerizing yet again. Easily the richest world in fiction right now.

It's absolutely ridiculous how beautiful the panels in this book are.

This series, six volumes in, still has me losing my shit. I never have any idea what's to come because while the mythos itself is resilient, it's genre-grab bag quality keeps ya on your toes. Rare to find, beloved to read. The apocalypse has never been more fun.
