This is probably my least favorite Abby Jimenez book only because the beginning was too perfect and convenient. However the last quarter of the book kicked in and I was sobbing like usual so she still gets 4 🌟

I wasn't sure how I'd feel reading Sloan's story after what happened to her in The Friend Zone, but I really liked this book. The beginning was hard to read, not because it was poorly written or anything, but just because it was a sad look into the life of someone going through grief. Abby did a great job of capturing the struggle of balancing moving on and creating a new life with not forgetting the past. I adored Jason, he might be one of my all time favorite book boyfriends. The way their story unfolded was so sweet, funny, and like a dream come true. I was so invested in Sloan's story and was SO happy with how it all turned out for her in the end.
