I just adore Beefcake that cranky old man! But Noah and Alexis were hands down one of my favorite couples. The do they don’t they before you start dating a friend was depicted really well and the side plots weren’t too crazy.

I actually enjoyed Alexia and Noah story more than I thought I was, however they didn’t really give us a lot… I wish you got a little more from them… they had a lot of common both good and bad that we really didn’t explore… Instead we get a ridiculous reveal and a whole thing about kidney donation and I don't even know what to say.. I tired to justify it because the author was writing from a personal experience, but it’s absolutely no way I would’ve gave my king lost father, who treated me like shit my kidney. The Karen character was very unnecessary and added nothing to the story.. also beefcake picking up dead things and dropping them on people? So strange and random
Lastly…I know I’m in the minority but I think the way she writes the men characters is a little heavy handed and unrealistic… for example when they went to the spa, it was very cringy how Mack responded to the strip club commemt.. and I wish Mack and Liv’s wedding didn’t get as much attention as it was.

Title: Crazy Stupid Bromance
Author: Lyssa Kay Adams
Rating: 3.5/5
I think friends to lovers is one of my new favorite tropes. I love The Bromance Book Club way too much. All these guys are such good friends and really try to help each other find love and it's great to read about. In this third installment we follow Alexis and Noah from the previous book in their lives post-sexual harassment scandal. Noah and Alexis are best friends but neither know whether they want to take it to the next level.
I still believe the first book is the best so far, but this one was definitely great as well. I think the long lost family storyline just didn't quite do it for me. Something just didn't seem right about it. I don't want to give away too much, but it is hard to believe that someone could be so trusting of people she doesn't even know to go and do what she does in the story.
And Noah? Yeah I'm a fan of his. He's so dorky and lovable and his feelings for Alexis are just so relatable. I think we've all been in his shoes. And the love scenes? I approve.
And can we talk about Beefcake the cat?! I literally laughed out loud over his interactions with Noah. Pure gold.
Anyway...PICK UP THIS BOOK SERIES. IT IS GREAT.
