The Good and The Bad
☽ While this book has more plot doesn't mean it has more substance. For me it's still in the same level as the two other books before it. I do think that there should be a little more push with the issues to have more feelings in it.
☽ The writing got better. I am loving how this series explores different kinds of relationships and I am here for it. But I did notice that I am feeling more butterflies in my stomach in this book. I love the descriptions better and the structuring. This is the sweetest one so far!
☽ I came for a light romance, and I got light romance. I think I've been reading too much heavy things lately and life is not helping it so I was looking for something that would just take my mind off things. I knew that this book would help me read and finish a book. There's nothing too heavy in it and it was very satisfying.
☽ This book is good. But that could be bad. In this series, there is something missing that would give it a wow factor and what would make it great, but I can't place my finger on it.

In sum: I would definitely recommend this for people who are looking to get out of a reading slump, or for people who want to read something light and not emotion-heavy.

I’m a HUGE fan of trope-y, trashy romance novels. This has all the same shameless giddy fluffy fun, but with actually solid messages about relationships and masculinity and friendship. The discussion of serious social issues is delivered unapologetically and with real depth, and yet somehow never slows the plot. Every book in this series is hilarious and honest and I cannot recommend it enough.

I'm really enjoying this series and I find with each book she writes Lyssa Kay Adams gets better! I really enjoyed Alexis and Noah's story as well as seeing more of the characters in this book as well. I liked that this book had a few more subplots as well which in my personal opinions adds depth to the story and flushes out the characters more. I also cannot wait to read Vlad's story!!

I’m 3 for 3 with this series! 👍🏼 I read through it quickly and loved the characters. Alexis and Noah have a great friends to lovers story. I particularly enjoyed how involved Mack (aka Groomzilla) was in Noah’s story. This one was definitely more emotional for me than the previous books. Just shows that even a steamy book can pull at the heart strings. I highly recommend this series and I’m looking forward to book 4.
