Es el segundo tomo que sigue a los héroes de la lanza, quienes habitan en un mundo tipo medieval en donde hay magia, caballeros, dragones, elfos.

Esta segunda entrega, hay un seguimiento a la historia relacionada con los dragones y la guerra que se acerca, lo que me gusta ya que no pierde el tiempo con historias complementarias, aunque si hay menciones de hazañas de los protagonistas que tienen un impacto en la trama.

El final del libro queda en suspenso, por lo que se entiendo que se cerraran los temas en la tercera parte de la saga, esto puede ser una incomodidad si no cuentas con el tercer libro.
