A mix between letters and daily journal entries of our main characters.
I enjoyed the first half of the books which was more focused on the discovery of the existence of vampires and the mystery shrouding Lucy's illness.
However, the second half was less to my liking. It's less about creepy, Paranormal events and more about the planning and hunt of Dracula, which I didn't care about that much.

At the end, I was genuinely excited to see how this would turn out but immensely disappointed by how fast and easily Dracula found his death.

I dont know what to say. The beginning was great, the ending was good but way too short. I’m between it was very boring to me and the book could have been like 150 pages shorter.
On the other hand: the characters were a slay!!

4.75

For being a book published in 1897, I give it a complete 5 stars for the time. Reading it now in our century, I believe it to be a 4,5. So I decided to go the middle way and rate it 4,75. Magnificent book, would recommend it to anyone, basically helped starting a whole new genre.
