I’m genuinely confused, why does everyone love this book so much? There were some cute scenes, sure, but unfortunately, there were so many things that bothered me:
(Spoilers ahead!)

  1. I HATE love triangles with a passion (though there are some exceptions), so the book wasn’t off to a great start. Then the whole “who is she going to choose?” just was too drawn out. I kept thinking: “The main couple is happy, so why do we still got 200 pages left?” Well, because of DRAMA.
  2. Most of the characters were unlikable, but especially Chase was insufferable. Every time he opened his mouth I wanted to throw my book across the room. Don’t even get me started on his “second chance” with the fmc. 😒 Also, why did no one tell Arianna (parts of) the truth? They KNEW what had happened and still went along with it?!?
  3. Going back to the plot, everything was like a typical college romance at first, just a little bit dragged out, but then so much was happening at the same time. In my opinion, there was too much angst and drama squeezed into the last hundred pages.
  4. The writing style itself isn’t necessarily bad, but it sounded a lot like a teenager wrote it. The scenes also were kind of messy, we were just jumping from the one scene to the next one with no lead in & explanation to where we are, who’s there and what’s happening.

Honestly the only good thing about this book was Noah, he’s almost the only one with a personality and single handedly carried every conversation.
I don’t think that I’m going to continue reading this series. 🤷🏼‍♀️
