Say You Swear was a fast, addicting read that hooked me right away. It had just the right amount of drama to keep me turning the pages, and the love triangle element really added to the tension. I enjoyed the way Ari and Noah's relationship developed against the backdrop of messy friendships and complicated loyalties.

That said, some of the plot turns stretched believability for me. The timing, combination, and dynamics of (view spoiler) felt a bit forced. Still, I don’t necessarily come to romance for strict realism, and in this case the heightened drama worked to make the story feel even more “soapy” and bingeable.

Overall, it’s an entertaining, dramatic ride—part angsty romance, part emotional rollercoaster—that fans of messy love triangles and high-stakes drama will likely devour.

Hated the writing style. It just couldn't get into it. So many characters are thrown in at the start and it's just a very bad style. It's like you're reading while riding a horse. You just keep re-reading the same sentences because it just doesn't really flow. Yoz can't just skim pages smoothly, you have to really focus on individual sentences. As someone who usually ready extremely fast, this book just didn't allow me to get into the flow. Story-wise, i can't really say if it's good or not, because i didn't get too far. In the 100 pages that i have read, none of the characters were really that likeable.

Imma be honest I did not care at all for even one second about any of this

I liked this book. I love Noah. However, it was just far too long, I wish Ari got her memory back a lot sooner. Feel like it could have been done in 350 pages, max 400! Not bloody 500!

I literally think about this book once a week. Love it!

Dnf for personal reasons.

I didn't love it but I didn't hate it.   There were parts of this book that I absolutely adored.   Like the friends to lovers aspect from Ari and Noah.   And how lovingly protective he was of her.  Oh and the man had patience which is something I love to see too.  Their whole love story was *chefs kiss* - even the hard to read parts towards the end.   I just felt like it was a lot of extra fluff and extra words just to make the book longer.  I feel like a lot could have been taken out and still had the point gotten across.   I also was told this was emotionally damaging - and although there were lots of gut wrenching moments - I think I was hoping for a good cry out of this and I kind of just got some small tears.   That and it’s predictable - never fun to read a story that you know what’s gonna happen next.   Like I said I didn’t hate it but it wasn’t my favorite book this year! 3⭐️

The story started off very excitingly. However, I must also say that the book is more suited to young adults or teenagers (aged between 16 and 20), because many parts are still quite naive.

SPOILER
The protagonist is annoying in some places because she behaves so immaturely. But you just have to keep reminding yourself that she is still very young and extremely inexperienced. Nevertheless, she sometimes makes decisions that I cannot understand at all...

The whole accident story with amnesia was too predictable for me, and yet it didn't fit with the rest of the story at all. It detracted from the love story. Then there's the whole baby thing... and getting married. Come on, she's 18... It's just too cheesy.
The ending came very quickly, somehow everything happened at once, and that was annoying.
