This book was certifiably insane.
I found myself pondering existence a lot and what being mortal or immortal may turn our society into.
Thiught provoking, very dark, and I think maybe the first book I can understand calling a “wild ride” - not sure how I haven’t found this series yet but now I’m ready to keep going for sure. Amazing read. Terrifying. But amazing.

finishing this book was like a task i've been procrastinating but i'm very glad that i read it! The concept was super intriguing and the execution did not disappoint. Overall really good book despite how long it took me to read, the ending made it worth it.

Story was good and interesting but I enjoy a lot more delving into characters which I feel this lacked. However it will be excellent fodder for my book club I have with my teen son!
A friend reccomended this to me and I am so happy they did. Neal Shusterman is a one-of-a-kind author. While I saw some of the twists coming, I still thoroughly enjoyed my time with this plot and these characters. It's well paced and just a lot of fun while pondering some vast moral questions.

For a time,I thought I wasn’t going to continue the series because I didn’t really care for the characters or what was going on but, the conclusion of Scythe has me wanting to continue the series.
