I kept thinking there was something I was supposed to get. But I didn't get it.

Starts off compelling, gets muddled in the middle, and ends on a whimper. There are still moments of brilliance and bits that I'm going to copy out and keep forever, but not one of my favorites.

Interesting story, didn't like it quite as much as The Alchemist. Love the photo on the front cover!

Very enlightening and interesting to read. The interview structure of going person to person though got a little convoluted trying to remember each person as they went.

This is hands down the most important book I’ve ever read. I had forgotten who I was for a little while and this book welcomed me back with open arms.

I really enjoyed this book discussing the divine feminine and a priestess in the real world. Very interesting and unique writing style to construct the novel. Recommend this!

One of my favorites by Coelho.

I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. I've read a work of the author before and it wasn't really my cup of tea but I did like this one and I also recommend it.

For some reason I expected a lot more out of this book. It was an interesting read, though.

not my fave Paulo Coelho but i did like this. as usual, i like his writing and ended up tabbing almost every page of the book.

The Witch of Portobello is about Sherine or better known as Athena as she tries to fill in the blanks in her life by having a child, seeking her biological mother and ultimately helping others in their search for spiritual strength. it's a combination of finding strength in life, knowing yourself, spirituality, and new age.
