I enjoyed the way the author was able to give each character a different voice and I liked the kind of interview style writing. The theme of needing to step outside of your comfort zone, embrace the weird, and change your perspective came across well. I liked it overall but it wouldn’t be a book I would recommend

I loved the style of writing in which the story of the main character was told through interviews with the people she knew. However, the story itself, while interesting, was at times hard to follow. There was a lot of information about the "Great Mother" that I didn't understand.
