I'm a big Joe Kubert fan and somehow I'd never heard of this before. I bought it for #WesternComicsMonth. It's not precisely a western but I'm counting it.
Joe Kubert is the writer and artist and worked his ass off on this. Abraham Stone's travels see him going to New York, Hollywood, and finally Mexico, Joe Kubert lavishly drawing every step of the way. I'd say it's a historical coming of age tale but Abraham Stone doesn't grow up all that much.
