Good stuff, Central character good and horrible, nice bit about money can't buy you happiness and cheating as part of life. Female characters a bit lightly sketched.

This was very enjoyable. I read it in a day.

The narration was terrible. I think I would have enjoyed this book more under different circumstances.

Quick and easy read which is about all I can handle right now. I went into it thinking it was going to be a comedy but there's a very dark edge to it. Well written and smart.

Read it in a day - loved it so much - amusing. Just when I thought the book was going to a boring and predictable place, it turned, I recommend for a fast read. (I totally get why Jason Schwartzman has optioned it for a movie - very Wes Anderson-type story line and pacing.)

Hysterical, caustic boarding school tale---would love to read more by Simon Rich.

This was an odd book. I liked the basic idea of it - it reminded me of one of my favorite films, Election, due to the setting and the general plot. It would have made a better short story or novella. There's just not quite enough "there" there to fill a whole novel, and it seems padded/repetitious. Not bad - but could've been better.

Silly, fun, little book. Just because. Simon Rich is funny.

Stopped after a couple of chapters. It's kind of amusing if you wonder what it would be like to manipulate people through having unlimited money but it wasn't something I wanted to read a whole book about.
