Gostei bastante, por algum motivo estes clássicos são intemporais!
A forma como o autor escreve parece que estamos a ouvir uma história. Foi a minha primeira leitura da obra de Charles Dickens e para já aprovadíssimo.

Idk couldn’t do it, might later

I've had mixed impressions of Dickens, so I'm a little surprised that I liked this one. Also surprised by how readable it was, and even funny in parts. I liked the narrator's voice although most characters were a little weak and undeveloped. Overall, I'm glad I gave Dickens another shot.

Dickens is a phenomenal writer and hilarious but the antisemitism and awfully written female characters gave me a headache. Not mr and Mrs bumble though, they slayed.

Just want to give Oliver a hug tbh

This book was so moving and made me think about orphan kids and the things they've been through.
Loved it like I loved all Charles Dickens' books.

3.5

Plot is 5 stars, knocked down to 3.5 stars because it's just too long and it gets confusing trying to keep the characters straight.

The story itself is amazing but man this is a long read. I want back and forth between reading the book and going through the chapter summaries, maybe 1/3 of this was me just reading the summaries when i started to get bored. Try that if you're struggling to finish because it really is worth knowing the whole story.

Good but long...
