I'm officially calling it quits. I really did want to finish. I liked it. Dickens' snark speaks to me. I just need to take some stressors out of my life and feeling like I have to finally get around to this is one that can easily go.

I did not love it. But it’s a classic, and I could grasp its influence on so many stories, which is partly why I rated it higher. But similar to treasure island, I almost like the abridged/diluted story better than the real one. Dickens can convolute things with his large cast of characters. But I enjoyed it. Not sure if I would have liked reading it compared to listening.
