This was so good, I wanted to read it slower. The banter was hilarious, the focus on family, friendships, healing from past trauma. Zacai and Taima were just want each other needed love and security. The epilogue was beautiful ❤️ !!

Zacari and Tamia were freaking perfect for each other. Tamia ws exactly what Zacari needed, she showed him what unconditional and pure love was and that it was not something toxic. All the while he showed her that she could trust herself and be open with someone other than her bro. Both of them went through their own hardships but came out on top and that was a beautiful sight to see. This by far is my fave book by Kami as I literally teared up at each of their stories and to see the bond and understanding that they had made my heart warm.

Taima and Zacai

I enjoyed that story. Zakai background was heartfelt and trauma field. Taima had to learn the hard way who her real friends were. I was really happy that they found each other. I did think it was weird how she watched him in the office scene. I love how the author thought outside the box and did something different with the female character and I love how she allowed the male character to have a area of vulnerability. This was a good read and I recommended it.

heart strings

This book pulled at your heartstrings from the very beginning. It gave the right amount of hood and balanced love. Friends to lovers is always a slow burn for me but I flew right through this

loved it!!!!

This was my first read by this author and I truly enjoyed it. The beginning broke my heart. No one should have to go through that. Both Zacai and Taima deserved better in life being hurt and betrayed by people who supposedly loved them. I’m glad that got their happily ever after.
