Love the concept of "antifragility," but am not a fan of the execution. The writing style is unnecessarily aggressive and meandering. This could have been a much shorter and more useful book.
I'll keep it short and simple on this. I appreciate the core argument and I think that it makes sense however the super-ego, narcassistic, I am better than everyone style of Taleb left me cold. To be so condemning of everyone else and often in the same thought be as loose and fast with self-created "facts" and unwarranted assumptions undermined any respect I have for the author.
I truly enjoyed this book, and I plan on reading it many more times. Taleb is a remarkable man. In this book he has quite the story to tell. I applaud Taleb for being able to explain such complicated concepts, in simple terms, and across multiple domains. I will most definitely be taking a look at the more technical aspects of his arguments, as I look forward to understanding the concepts he develops in more depth.

A really interesting perspective on heavy tail events in the real world. Many novel ideas in real world applicable lessons for every day people and decision-makers. Shame that the author is clearly an asshole. Many wacky comments exist throughout, often driven by personal anecdotes.

I got bored as I started the second book, so I really just skimmed the last four... However! Although I find Taleb's style to meander, I find his *ideas* quite striking. I'm definitely a big fan of capital Antifragility.
