The second installment in this series did not disappoint.  Winter Black is assigned to work with Sun Ming as the case lead.  Ming believes a bank robbery in California is just the first in series of crimes that are copying prior famous cases.  Winter knows that Ming isn't telling everything she knows.  Winter is focused and not exactly friendly, Ming is abusive in her behavior toward others.  Noah and another agent are assigned to assist.  Winter knows the next robbery will not be in LA but Ming insists it will be.  Ming and Noah go to LA.  Winter and the other agent are where the crime is committed but the agent is killed, and Winter injured.  Ming is furious that Winter was right.  She locks her out of the case but Winter consults profiler Aiden who is recovering from injuries from their last case.  Again, Ming is furious that Winter has the information needed to solve the case.  They do solve the case and it appears that Ming and Winter have achieved a truce.  I am anxious to see where the next case takes us.  This is a journey that I don't want to miss.

This book was good, but I wish Winter had a better handle on her abilities. Other than that, I liked the story and I look forward to o more.

Great book!

The author puts plenty of action, suspense and humor in this book. Humor in a book about a psychopath was a treat and I loved it!
