Some good nuggets, but I've read a couple of her books now and I think some of them are a little repetitive, hence the lower star rating.

This is really a 3 1/2 star review, so I rounded up a little. This book takes a good look at shame and vulnerability, but it wasn't especially transformative for me. Brené Brown's speaking style is much more engaging to me than her writing, but she is gifted at weaving stories and anecdotes into her conclusions about her research. The book is useful for self reflection, but didn't inspire much measurable or practicable change for me. I enjoyed it.
