No idea how this does not rate higher. I will say that I had some lingering questions at the end, but I believe that is the point of the abrupt ending.

I didn't quite believe this but it was still an interesting thought experiment. I found the main characters both not that likeable.

There was and still is a lot of hype around this book and I can definitely see it. I feel like there were too many extraneous characters introduced that didn’t serve the plot much and seemed like a distraction. I definitely liked the book and probably would read it again.

this book was probably one of the best ive read in a while. its captivating, hopeful, haunting, and bold with a twist that captures the incredibly raw and realistically heartbreaking and painful emotions of death and the afterlife and just how short life truly is. its definitely a book i will never forget.
