I LOVE these books! They're so much fun, and Bronson Pinchot is a MASTER narrator. His voices are just brilliant and really add so much life and excitement to the story.

In this installment, our Hero Princes set about retrieving a magical sword from the plundered treasure of the pre-teen Bandit King, Deeb Rauber. What starts as a quest to save Prince Liam from his evil Fiance, Sleeping Beauty, ends up being a lesson in working together as a team. Each member grows in this story...some a little, others a lot. There's a much brighter spotlight on the Villians in this tale, and things do get a little darker, but nothing too dark or inappropriate for children.

There's lots of adventure, lots of humor, and even a few touching moments that made me well up just a teensy-tiny bit.

I'm gonna take a small break between this book and Book 3 as I can only handle audiobooks in short bursts, but once I get down a traditional book on my Kindle, I'll jump right back into finish the series with Book 3.

I ABSOLUTELY recommend this to anyone who loves swash-buckling adventure and crazy lovable hero's (or The Princess Bride). This is PERFECT for kids, and I highly suggest listening to it rather than reading it. No way can anyone beat Mr. Pincht and all his spot-on voices!

First of all, short review. :)

Second of all, that cover! So wrong in so many ways, I have no clue why they even hired that illustrator or that no one told him about the characters. Frederic isn't blond, he has black hair and he is thin. Liam doesn't have short hair, his hair is reaching his shoulders and always windswept, also he has green eyes, and is slightly coloured. Gustav doesn't have curls, his hair is long again and is straight with braids. The only one who slightly seems ok is Duncan. It is a shame, if I had known that before I bought the book (I bought one and two together), I wouldn't have bought it, but instead ordered the second book online so I could get the right cover.

Now on to the book, this is the second book in the series, and the League of Princes is on their way again. This time to save Liam, but after everything that happens they also have a new mission.

The book was really brilliant, though I felt it was a bit less than the previous book. It just missed something. But it was still funny and it was nice to see all the characters (and also Briar, though she was just a bitch, though you could clearly see she just wants attention and love) again and see them do stupid stuff.

Since the ending was pretty open, I am hoping for a book three!

Less strong than its predecessor, it's still fun to catch up with the characters from the first book, and the expanded stories for characters like Briar Rose and Snow White are absolutely welcome.

The unlikely heros are back and funnier then ever!

While hiding away from the world after the bards got their story wrong agian, the princes are back in thier home countries and trying to get back to real life. The only problem is they are all just itching for another adventure. But it isn't long until they partner up agian as Briar Rose (the spoiled and bratty Sleeping Beauty) has kidnapped Prince Liam and plans on marrying him agianst his will!

Ella, Frederic, Duncan and Gustav attempt to save the day but as they've been out of practice and they are missing thier 'Idea man', things go horribly wrong. Briar Rose and Liam are married and the crew put in jail. They don't stay in their long, however as Briar Rose has an idea to capture a sword stolen by the infamous (and very young) Bandit King and it involves the Princes as bait.

I really enjoyed this book. It made me laugh, it made me gasp (Brair Rose and Liam CAN'T be married!) and it made me turn the pages in a mad rush to find out what happens!

Its such a silly little book with a great adventure story and wonderfully likeable characters. The best by far is of course Prince Duncan who makes me laugh everytime he is on the page!

I would highly reccommend this to all kids, all adults, well just everyone who likes to smile!!

More please Mr. Healy!

Another fun adventure. Great to see the characters grow and I'm interested to find out where the League of Princes goes from here.

A fun goofy read. I think kids would really enjoy this one. As an adult I appreciated it for its light humor and wildly silly but loveable cast of characters.

*A wonderful follow-up to the first Hero's Guide. I was worried that it wouldn't be as good (sequel-syndrome), but the characters grew, the story moved along nicely, and it made me even more excited for book 3. Everyone's place in the group is questioned in this book, including their place within their relationships.

I read this book for a different purpose than just to review, I wanted to really look at the princesses in the book for our girl power series we'll be doing at the end of the month and I am so impressed at the different personalities and how each princess is so unique.

Enjoyable - a little slow in the middle, but I think that was me, not the book. Great characters again and an interesting adventure.
