The second book to an amazing series full of action, humor, and danger. I love this trilogy.
adventurous
funny
lighthearted
fast-paced
This series is just a fun read! It pokes fun at famous fairy tale characters, and it also shows off unexpected but very fitting personalities. Some of my favorite moments involve Gustav (Rapunzel’s prince) yelling “Stuuuurmhaaaageeeen!” Or Frederic (Cinderella’s prince) being a hero by trying to remember how his favorite book character “Sir Bertram the Dainty” would get through his various mishaps. Seriously, if you want a fun and light-hearted read, you should pick these books up. The second was just as fun as the first.
A lot more people die in this book than you would imagine, but it's still mostly just hilarious.

This is totally going to be one of my lazier reviews because I read The Hero’s Guide To Storming The Castle by Christopher Healy back in May and it’s October as I type this, November when you read this and you know, my notes were kind of sparse and my memory is unfortunately not the photographic type. When I read the first of Healy’s awesome Heroes series, I found myself utterly charmed and delighted. I found that I could not wait for the sequel. Healy writes with a hefty dose of humor, providing much needed levity to my reading. So, when I cracked open The Hero’s Guide To Storming The Castle I was experiencing some illness, but you guys if books could cure illness and make you feel better, THIS IS THE ONE TO PICK UP. It was a perfect read for me in my time of need, ha ha.

I just love these books. Healy has a wonderful imagination. Someone needs to make these books into movies! Write more!
Once again, Christopher Healy doesn't disappoint. The second book in the League of Princes series is just as edge-of-your-seat hilarious as the first that you can't put it down. (read more)
This was, as to be expected, a very silly book. I laughed out loud a few time. It's a fun read though I think some of the cleverness might be missed by a younger audience. It had been a while since I had read the first book and couldn't quite remember what had happened in it. Thankfully this book gives enough reminders, that it's not necessary to remember everything.
