I didn't finish it. I stopped at 24%. The killer was similar to the one it the fist Bennet story. Neat, condescending shit... Why, oh why the authors thought that kids vomitting would be nice to describe even once? What about pages? Are we 12?
Why does everyone seem to think that having 10 children is an accomplishment or an important part of the plot? He has a big family, he wanted it, he has help at home. So be it. That's his life. Would everybody talk that much about it if the character were a woman? Nope.

If this book did not have the author's name on it, I still would have known it was by James Patterson. Not sure if that is good or bad.

I found it a bit intriguing when it seemed the bad guy was offing people for bad behavior/breaches of etiquette. While I can't condone the violence, it's not a bad agenda to have.
The ending was ridiculously over the top.

Talk about your road rage, the villain in this novel fulfills the role of psychopath in spades!
The widower New York City Detective, who has the mission to bring the villain to justice, also has the responsibility to care for his family of adopted (I think there are 10) children!
When you read this tale you are really in for a wild ride!

JP's villains get more and more psychotic with every book, but the pages turn practically by themselves!
pretty good, a little slower action than his other books. It wasn't bad, but not as good as the ones he writes alone!

A good thriller/crime book. I like the way Patterson writes and the way we're made to think one thing before the twist kicks in, and we realise that we were nowhere near. I prefer this one to the last one of his I read and look forward to reading more of his.
