I picked this one up because: female PI stories based in Portland! This one is a fairly compelling story that really needs proofreading. Multiple errors were distracting. It also would have been nice to know in advance that these are EXTREMELY short stories to be considered novels. Novellas at best. Apparently I did not check out the page count when I ordered the ebook. That being said, the lead character is amusing if not completely likable, the supporting cast is fun, and the plot moves along at a good clip. It kept me interested enough to move on to the rest of the series of (very short) Mysteries.
