i was kind of surprised by this book and i did enjoy a lot of it. i’ve always loved enemies to lovers and josh and jules had great banter between them.
i enjoyed the buildup to them getting together and the way their relationship progressed.
i also enjoyed josh’s character a lot. i always thought that alex and rhys were basically the same character, so i liked that josh deviated from that grumpy and dangerous persona.
that being said, just like with the first two books, i was not a fan of the smut. it was just too much and there is even a fairly questionable consent scene in this book that i still don’t know how i feel about. i feel like with this series, the sex scenes are just the same over and over again and it starts to get really repetitive. 
despite that, i still enjoyed the plot of the book. i loved jules, and i knew i would bc i liked her a lot in the first two books as well. i’m interested to see how the next book is going to be.

so repetitive and dramatic that towards the end i had to listen to the audiobook on 3.00x speed
i was a wattpad girl but this was painful
josh grossed me out and jules kept embarrassing me

Loved the relationship between these main characters. Great banter and chemistry. A perfect contemporary enemies-to-fuck buddies-to-lovers.
